ABOUT ROATAN ISLAND REAL ESTATE

Kenton Ownbey founded the first real estate brokerage on Roatan in 1972. He went away to developments on the mainland only to come back and form Roatan Island Real Estate. Roatan Island Real Estate today has that wealth of Roatan knowledge and new agents and ownership to inject new energy and vision into a great real estate experience Today we have an office at the Roatan West Bay Caribbean Breeze Villas gate house right around the corner from the West Bay Mall. Kent has an MBA in Real Estate Finance and a DBA in Real Estate Marketing - and Honduras and US broker's licenses and associations and to this date is still a mentor and consultant to Roatan Island Real Estate.

Kevin Stratton now the owner broker has been on Roatan for over 8 years. When he came here started his own construction company Roatan Island Dream Homes on and is still building homes and has many happy satisfied customers. He met Connie Bodden the manager of Roatan Island Real Estate working for Kent almost 7 years ago and they have been together ever since and now have a 3 year old son. Kevin bought Roatan Island Real Estate from Kent in 2007. Kevin had taken his real estate instruction courses in Louisiana in 1998 an 2000 and worked for a short time there in real estate before coming to Roatan. Kevin is also a home inspector and has been doing that service for almost every real estate company on the island and is still doing that work even today. He is also a Certified International Property Specialist Member RRA/Canabirh Association of Honduras since he bought the real estate company. Kevin is now also selling fiberglass swimming pools on Roatan for Caribbean Bay Pools of Honduras which are a very good choice for pools here on Roatan for many reason.

Edward du Monceaux turned real estate into his career in 1990 in Canada and sold many millions of dollars of real estate, winning multiple awards and making hundreds of friends! Since 2003 Edward and Eileen, his wife, have called Roatan home. Edward is creating the exclusive Caribbean Breeze Villas of West Bay, as well as helping people acquire their perfect ‘Place in the Sun’ on Roatan.

Fran Marazzito was first licensed in real estate in 1991 in New Yorks Hudson Valley. Living in Roatan since 1999 with his wife Stella; in 2001 together they formed Roatan Property Management and have been successfully managing properties for absentee homeowners. With experience in real estate sales, management, vacation rentals and island living in 2008 Fran joined Roatan Island Real Estate to further serve the needs of guests and clients when searching for or selling their vacation home on the island.

Connie Bodden was born and raised in Sandy Bay on Roatan Honduras. She has been working in real estate since she was 18 years old. She was with the first ReMax real estate office that Kent Ownbey owned as his office manager and is now part owner our company Roatan Island Real Estate. She is now also going to school to be attorney here to help even more in all the legal issues to protect you in law here Honduras.
